Thesis Abstract

Adjusted topic of the thesis to be about the creation of a font that is displayed in different languages, rather than a language system itself. Font System The goal of my thesis is to create a font system that is displayed through multiple language systems. To give a better idea of this, think of Helvetica being made for Cyrillic, Arabic, Katakana. This font would be a singular system of parts being displayed in the language systems around the world.   So far, I have made nothing as of this writing, I have primarily been focused on research and data collection to lead to a better understanding of the systems I will be creating a font in. The biggest problem that I will be facing with this thesis is the accurate depiction of language structures in the font system I will be creating. In some of these languages, a minor difference in curvature of a line could cause a different meaning of it entirely.
