Thesis Experts

Jesse Weser

Jesse Weser is part of Winthrop's VCOM department. She is an expert in creating systems for design processes. Jesse will be helping in identifying systems within the written format of the language. In other words, act as a person who checks the unity of each individual glyph during the visual production of the language system. I hope to learn from Jesse are methods of creating systems for a large scale project.

Valerie Jepson

Valerie Jepson is part of the College of Arts and Sciences on Winthrop. She is an expert in the Spanish language and second language acquisition. Valerie will help with research and understanding of how a language works within the created systems. I hope to learn how languages are reflected and learned through different lenses from her.

Kurt Goblirsch

Kurt Goblirsch is a professor of German and Linguistics at the University of South Carolina. He studies the area of northern Europe around Scandinavian, German and England, also he is an expert in medieval literature. Kurt will help with the historical foundation of the language and fact-checking the historical importance and believability of the language system is created. I hope to learn the more nuanced traits of languages around the area from Kurt.

Out-of-State Expert

I haven't nailed down an out-of-state expert yet. The plan though is to get someone who is an expert in a Scandinavian language, this will help with the more nuanced components of the history and development of the languages in their respective area. The expert will also act as a knowledge base for common wording within their expert language.
